Timeline & Focus Areas

Currently focusing on learning and exploring new concepts while taking a break from active project development.

In 2024, I drove significant technical and operational improvements in our platform team. While implementing and optimizing our trading architecture (by doing my best to remove technical debt), I simultaneously enhanced our project management structure through the introduction of SCRUM and Agile methodologies. This dual focus resulted in both making our system more reliable and streamlining our development workflows.

Looking ahead to 2025, I'm deepening my expertise in Python. With a sole focus on performance optimization techniques, I think this goal is reasonable. Currently, I do know that my optimization techniques through Numba and C-bindings are already substantial, but I'm sure I can go further. I think exploring numba intrinsics and furthering my Numpy vectorized operations would be good. I also want to find a way to perf Numba for performance profiling.

We'll see how it goes. If I have extra time I want to look into more books on solving "people issues".
